As the implementor of the USAID-funded Management Engineering Services Contract II (MESC II), Engicon participated last month in USAID’s 2022 annual Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Conference and Expo in Amman. The annual event showcases USAID’s implementing partners’ achievements and successes through innovation and expertise. The event also promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing for learning among USAID/Jordan MEL practitioners and facilitates collaborative problem solving around emerging challenges.

During the two-day event, the MESC II team highlighted its achievements and successes, specifically in water network upgrades, capacity building, development of Jordan’s water utilities, and overseeing USAID investments to reduce non-revenue water.

Nahel Maayta, Associate Director at Engicon and MESC II MEL Specialist, participated in a panel discussion during the event. She presented a case study for which MESC II was recently awarded the USAID Collaborative, Learning, and Adaptive (CLA) Award.
