Jordan’s largest and most sought after address for entrepreneurial activity and new businesses is King Hussein Business Park.

In 2018, DG Jones, a regional construction consultancy, signed up Engicon to provide architectural, interior design, mechanical and electrical solutions to five new infill office buildings on the Park’s premises. The contract also included construction supervision.

The planning and architectural designs for the infill buildings, a total built-up area of about 38,000 m², followed the guidelines of the business park’s original masterplan while introducing enhanced accessibility.

With clients ever more demanding for modern and creative office spaces, Engicon’s solution proposed office space flexibility; lighter facades; a podium on the ground floor level; raised plazas, and small gardens. To facilitate foot traffic between new and old buildings, the solution offered corridors that connected pedestrian routes.
