The expansion of the grain silos in Juwaideh and Irbid represented a strategic project for Jordan’s food security. The project involved increasing the storage capacity of the two silos by 120,000 and 100,000 tons, respectively.

Engicon carried out both design and construction supervision services. Design works included the architectural and structural design of slipform concrete silos, electro-mechanical design for operations, external and internal electrical and mechanical works, a fire system, and the storm water drainage and exterior works on the yards.
