Juwaideh and Irbid Grain Silos Extension

The expansion of the grain silos in Juwaideh and Irbid represented a strategic project for Jordan’s food security. The project involved increasing the storage capacity of the two silos by 120,000 and 100,000 tons, respectively.

Engicon carried out both design and construction supervision services. Design works included the architectural and structural design of slipform concrete silos, electro-mechanical design for operations, external and internal electrical and mechanical works, a fire system, and the storm water drainage and exterior works on the yards.

Jery Al Samur Development Project

Jery Al Samur Logistics Park is designed for the distribution of land-based goods and materials, throughout Qatar and the wider region. The project is being developed by the National Logistics Task Force to support the 2022 FIFA World Cup. It is located approximately 20km from Doha on an approximate land area of 750,000 m² (75 ha).

Engicon was assigned to design the roads and utilities infrastructure for the project. Components included within the scope are site works, roads, gates and entrances, networks for storm water, potable water, firefighting water, sewerage, electricity supply, telecommunication, a sewer holding tank, and pumping stations, among other site services.
