Engicon has been awarded the supervision contract by the Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) for the construction of the Aqaba International Racetrack (FIA Grade 3 Circuit) in Aqaba, Jordan. Spanning approximately 1,150,000 square meters, the landmark project will position Jordan on the international racing map, enriching Aqaba’s event calendar and boosting tourism.
The racetrack will include a 3.6 km main track, a 1.5 km training kart track across 22 dunums, a low-friction center, green areas covering 76 dunums, and multiple parking and paddock zones—comprising 22 paddock stalls, 234 additional stalls within a 90-dunum paddock area, and 232 car stalls across two designated zones. The design also features car vaults and approximately 90,000 square meters of paved surfaces.
Engicon’s scope of work covers full supervision of all project elements, including civil, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure. This encompasses water supply networks, stormwater drainage, wastewater systems, lighting, control systems, generators, pumps, tanks, as well as fencing and all site boundary works.
