Committment
Engicon’s mandate goes beyond technical design. The company embeds occupational health, safety, and environmental performance into how projects are planned, supervised, and operated.
Engicon maintains integrated management systems as a core part of its strategy for sustainability and business continuity. These systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environment), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety) and are applied across offices and project sites.
Environmental considerations are built into the full project life cycle. Services range from environmental due diligence and environmental and social impact assessments to environmental and social management planning, monitoring, and auditing.
On the buildings side, Engicon has designed and supervised Jordan’s first LEED Gold-certified headquarters building for the World Health Organization in Amman, a 3,900 m² facility that improves energy and water performance while enhancing user comfort.
In infrastructure, Engicon has supported lagoon remediation, stormwater management, and climate-resilient wastewater facilities, including projects financed under refugee resilience and climate adaptation frameworks. These assignments integrate environmental and social safeguards into technical design and construction supervision and incorporate site restoration and rehabilitation where required.
Health, safety, and environmental outcomes are treated as shared responsibilities that sit alongside quality, schedule, and budget in defining project success.
